Soluwize Foundation’s Workplace Empowerment initiatives are designed to ensure that education doesn’t end in the classroom. We place learners in real working environments, enabling them to apply their knowledge, gain confidence, and build professional networks. Our aim is to equip youth and emerging talent with the practical tools they need to succeed in the job market, whether through internships, learnership placements, or full-time employment.

We work in close collaboration with businesses, industry partners, and government entities to offer structured, high-quality workplace exposure opportunities that change lives.

  • Learnership Placements
    Paid and accredited programmes that combine structured learning with workplace experience.
  • Internships and Work Experience
    Short- to medium-term work placements that allow young people to gain exposure to real-world operations.
  • Permanent Job Placement Support
    Career coaching, CV preparation, and employer matching for programme graduates.

Our Workplace Empowerment programmes focus on placing learners in real working environments to gain practical industry experience. We aim to:

  • Bridge the gap between education and employment.
  • Provide on-the-job learning to improve employability.
  • Build networks between job seekers and employers.

We work closely with businesses and government partners to ensure that learners completing our programmes have access to internships, learnership placements, and permanent job opportunities.

STEM Support (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)

To strengthen South Africa’s future in science and technology, we support high school learners especially in rural and township schools through:

    • Career Guidance Workshops
      Helping learners understand opportunities in STEM fields and how to pursue them.
    • Extra Lessons in Key Subjects
      Focused tutoring in Mathematics, Physical Science, and Life Sciences to strengthen academic performance.
    • Customised CAPS-Aligned Workbooks
      Designed to complement classroom learning and improve performance in matric exams.

       

Our goal is to boost matric pass rates in STEM subjects, enabling more learners to qualify for higher education and careers in critical fields like engineering, IT, and healthcare
